UNDERNEATH:
Moving forward using all my breath
(Military Bunker, Kalemegdan fortress)
Deep beneath the ground there is security. There is no sunlight there, or wind in your hair, but this place will survive a nuclear attack. Here, nothing can hurt you. Here, there is enough air and you can breathe deeply. The hallway is narrow, but don’t be afraid. Here, you can allow your body to pulsate, rise and lower itself as a wave, like the earth’s crust, like a balloon. Say bunker and you will hear air… you will hear care. This is all we need in order to survive.
